That sounds peaceful and delicious.   [thumbsup]

Breaktime.  Actually finished one project that I started 2 years ago: king-size hand knit chonky blanket for a friend.

While waiting for rocks and mud to dry from a storm last night before I start shoveling again, I poked around some of the window frames and found several rotting spots.

Lose one project, add another.

Later.

So it goes...

Morning. Woke up to a cell phone that decided to reset itself overnight. Grey screen, fonts, everything  [bang]

Well, kinda.

Ironically, this coming Saturday will mark one year since I left my job.  Holy shit did that go by fast.  I either had fun, or...

In any case, this is the first time that I've really had any kind of break from working since I was 16.  I did have a two month break when I was 18 and attended a "Travel & Tourism School" in Floriduh.  I've never been more than a week or so between jobs.

That being said, I have a phone interview on Monday.

I had 4 months off with the move to Buffalo. Besides a 10 month break after a software company I worked for in the very early 2000's cashed out our stock options, I have worked nonstop since high school.

I might give notice at the new job on Friday.  It is such a mess and really is a job for 2 full time EHS people. I'm at a point where I don't have the desire or energy to work as hard as needed for that gig. The handwriting was on the wall when it took them 3 tries to get my paycheck to me on the date it should be handed out.

Holy crap. Paying our employees on time has always been the top priority.
