Yes, last Friday. My boss set up a meeting to discuss it today, but he had nothing to say.  The safety guy retired in Jan. I am the second one since then.  The other one  walked out after a few weeks!  With that, they did nothing to ensure that a new one might want to stick around.

Evening.

Hot as shit here lately.  And dry.  A new wildfire started today.  Not far from Stella's place but it isn't in danger.

My phone interview went well this morning.  Hoping to move to the next round.  It's clothing company - retail analyst role, but I've got experience with allocations, inventory management, product planning, etc.  Located in downtown so it's walkable/bikeable from my place.

Morning.

The wildfire I mentioned is now nearly 1,000 acres.  No measurable precipitation is in the forecast for the coming days.  I can see the smoke plume from my rooftop, even though I'm 60+ mile away.  I've seen slurry bombers fly over en route as they apparently reload in Colorado Springs.

I slept like shit.

I started looking at jobs.

Man, the shit they list as a requirement is something else.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Wait until you see jobs that you are qualified for and capable of doing be derbyed...  I have a friend who works at one said company and besides parts planning experience (which I have 5+ years of) they want someone with connections to OE moto or bicycle companies.  Talk about a needle in a haystack.

Edit: I just checked again.  Position is still open.  I've applied twice.
