Same.  Dog home and back to status quo.  Foot still in boot (beginning to think it'll be with me forever at this point), work the same, dozens and dozens of work trips lined up...

Trying new stove top chicken breast recipe tonight. Looking so far that it might be edible.  We'll see!

Down in the one star state (rating, not motto).  Drove around a bit today to see what has changed over the last 19 months or so.  All still the same - tons of road construction and the massive urban sprawl continues all around. Drove by my old townhouse and the landscaping looks even worse than when I left, so it seems the HOA issues driving that are ongoing. I do not miss this at all.

Funeral is tomorrow morning.  Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with some old colleagues. 

Meeting my cousin (who lives nearby) for dinner tonight.

Couple work shindigs at night this week. Always a pub because the average age here is like...28. I'll take the free food.

I may have helped my buddy get his foot in the door here.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Good evening. OSHA is coming back to work on Tuesday.  The corporate director of safety is wearing on my last nerve. I don't report to her or anyone in her group, but they sure do act like it.  [bang]

I really need to semi-retire. Pick up a little consulting and spend more time with my dog and less time driving back and forth to work or working.
