she bought me a nice infinity scarf while on her trip she gave it to me today and said that she feels bad that we can't be friends  oh... c'mon you know how this works. its to her benefit to have you be her "friend"..... its natural for people to be willing to go the extra distance.... as a favour to a........ friend. The more matey its gets the more willing you become. The gesture is - IMcynicalHO - a well worn HR tool of the trade. Enjoy the scarf  And be not disarmed  . |
