It has already happened

time is not linear

so somewhere in the greater continuum we are all already dead...so start living like you are...

none of this matters

so in at least one alternate reality were you in the room when I was touching upon that very concept, attempting to explain it to my wife? Or is it mere coincidence?  laughingdp

I have tried these sorts of conver's with the wife....she humors me for a while

and usually brings lofty concepts to a close

by asking when I am going to fix the picture-in-picture feature on the TV

my wife is actually interested in it and will bring some good simplistic viewpoints on such topics to the table that I otherwise overlooked due to overthinking things.

The dog will usually walk out of the room though, I think she already knows the answers and is bored with the conversation.

my wife has always been about science...to a point...more math than physics

in the greater realm of comprehension

we are little more than a bunch of chimps

sitting in the back of an advanced trigonometry class

picking nits off each other

read up on the new information surfacing in  quantum teleportation and give yourself a headache

http://arstechnica.com/science/2010/05/quantum-teleportation-achieved-over-ten-miles-of-free-space/

might explain how someone comes to mind right before your phone rings and it is them on the line  Wink

I'll read it later and then I'm sure it lead into an entire evening of following article links obsessively.  cheeky

My wife isn't very good at math (ie. she actually asked me what 11+19 was last night  laughingdp ) but she is actually very good at thinking outside the box and following along with complex theoretical concepts even if she can't follow the nuts and bolts behind the theories.

I'd read that thing you linked now but I'm supposed to be working

You say this as though it's a bad thing

who knows where exactly we rate in terms of intelligence?
what are the minimum and maximum levels on the scale
are we halfway towards the max, a quarter, a trillionith? Is there a max? Is there a minimum? How do we measure it then and does it even matter?

and they did it in labs with dirt floors

All good questions.

Pay attention for I shall say this only once:

There is definitely a minimum.

I saw her in the supermarket screeching at her unfortunate offspring.

So the scale does go into the negative range you say?
