Respectfully disagree that that's a simple solution. I would have had to do that several times last night.  It defeats the purpose of not being interrupted (from absolutely nothing or knee deep in a work project or making dinner or painting my nails or skyping with my 7 y/o nephew before he goes to bed) and from making the dogs go berserk.


Is motion sensor or remote controlled pepper spray a little extreme?    


I swear I really do like (most) people.  I just don't like interruptions at the abode.

how about a motion activated smell bomb...like a stinky sulphury fart smell or a skunk smell or something absolutely noxious but not overtly harmful to anyone...

and the point I was sorta getting at Stella on my previous suggestion was more for the idea for doing that to 1 or 2 and then word will get around and soon none of them will come around...
