I think you guys should sell most all your stuff, buy an enclosed trailer for your bikes and tow it with a decent rv. Drive somewhere, camp out for a few weeks and ride. See various parts of the country, research job markets and hopefully find a good one that's also in an area of the country you like.

Sounds great in theory.

Traveling with two dogs and a cat is not high on my pleasure list.

Are you offering to pay our bills?   Wink

Is it too late for Diva and B to catch a ride with Mr. French Knight?

Well one of you job hunters should move into the house across the street and clean the place up. The meth people just stole parts from the engine bays in two of the Chevys parked over there.

I hate Meth.

I also wish the owner would sell, move in, or rent the place. After a while there's not going to be anything left to steal.

The house next to me on this side of the street just went up for sale too. Their place is pretty decent. Scotts division got Transferred out to N. Carolina so they have to be gone by the end of the year. Hope someone decent buys the place.

You're in Klamath falls, correct?

How is the building industry doing out there?

I don't think so, but he would definitely need a bigger trailer!!

Bout the same as in most parts of the country. I see a few houses going up here and there, but I wouldn't plan on making a living at it here. The Bay Area seems to be booming though.

Who would want to live there?

Vermont would look cheap.

There's a lot of good things about it. Cost of living isn't one of those good things though.

A few of the good things...
if you're looking for work there's a job or two.
Good riding all year.
Things to see and do.
Being nickeled and dimed for everything.
Moderate weather
Bad traffic

Can't think of anything else right at the moment but there's probably something.

Oh I thought of another good thing.

Most of the smog gets blown inland by the ocean breeze and goes far away down to Bakersfield where they keep it down there and do something with it.  Grin

Send the dogs to SoCal for a vacation. I know just the spot where they'll be well cared for and entertained.  Grin

I am job hunting in 3 states. I am so bored with my life. I have no ties to Seattle and would leave in a heartbeat if I could.

You are always welcome here.

If there was a way to get you back in uniform, I would love to put you to work.

The people at the Red Cross here that I have dealt with seem to give a much different picture than you experiences there.  Maybe that is something to look at?

Got him!

At least one of them. Tuscany started barking so I got up and there he was, lookin for something else to steal. A call to 911 and two min later the Sherrif rolled up, threw the light on him, then the deputy was on him like a dog on a rabbit!  waytogo
