Evening! I'm back in Texas. I was able to get into Michigan on the 23rd, but had to stay near Detroit as the roads were shit and some interstates were closed.  Was still a bit dodgy of a drive on Saturday. Didn't help that the wipers on the rental were as shitty as the roads. But I got back to celebrate what would have been my dad's 80th birth day. Was a bit of an emotional few days. Unfortunately, due to the miserable weather, we really couldn't go anywhere or do much anything but hang out together. Which was fine. Had no issues driving back to Detroit today and other than a minor delay of 15 minutes, no problems getting here. Leaving for Phoenix by car tomorrow for some NYE fun. Flight |

evening.  What a waste of a bunch of time and effort today backtracking trying to find my bank card after going into the city to help a friend with a Dr. appt. No luck. But I at least I still had the card to ship my niece's bday gift so there's that. Hopefully no one else lost any time today and enjoyed. Partially working this week. Off on Friday to drive to Montana for NYE shenanigans because why drive somewhere warm and sunny? later.  |
