Against the voice screaming in my head I have decided to sell a motorcycle. Well actually it is a bunch of dirty parts that make a motorcycle. My 1966 Benelli Fireball is going to live in New Hampshire where the new owner is going to turn it into a vintage race bike.

I have reached the point in my life that i realize there are just some things i will never get to.

I made it to Denver.

Unfortunately, some of my furniture - including the Noguchi tabletop - and appliances did not.  Even though I hired professional movers and used the same agency on both ends (I drove a U-Haul with the goods), worst damage I've experienced in 25 years and 8 prior moves.

When you pay professionals to pack, load & unload, you don't expect north of $7,500 in damages.  Especially on stuff that could have been taken apart.  And other items that had made 5 previous moves unscathed...

Thankfully, the Noguchi table was just dirty, not scratched.
