I'll say it, weird weather, I should be melting, and temperatures have barely hit 32°C+ the past few weeks, nights have been unsually cool, 18°C ~ 20°C ...

Carlos, in practice, using bad wine for cooking not a bad idea but that would require me to be home plus the desire to cook something more time intensive than throwing a salad together or heating microwavable rice.   ;)

See ... Leave it open and it will becomer Red Wine Vinegar and then you can use it on your salad ...

Morning. I made it home yesterday!  1125 miles round trip.  With construction stops and Portland traffic, it took just under 11 hours to get home.

Afternoon!

How are you enjoying the break so far, Mary?

I'm currently lacking the motivation to find something.  But, the cost of health insurance is ridiculous.  So I'll need to find something before I run out of money.  Would help if I knew what I wanted to do.

Another nice day in Denver, with another storm allegedly coming this weekend.  And if you are wondering, February is typically the 4th snowiest month in the city, behind March, April and December.  It will likely snow here around Mother's Day as well.

Sleeping in is great! I have my moving container scheduled for drop off on March 7 and picked up on the 11th. Everything I own will be loaded, so I will have to start driving to Buffalo then!

My Cobra is $533 a month. Feb is covered be work.

Mine was $664/month.  But apparently auto bill pay wasn't set up properly (does that even make sense?) and my coverage was canceled on 11/30/23.  Wasn't notified of this until almost mid-January, but I was able to get coverage through ACA at $516/month.

Got a check from insurance from the storage unit robbery.  Doesn't come close to covering what was taken, but I'll gladly cash it.  There is a warrant out for the perps arrest.  Hopefully he's in custody soon.
