Nothing much planned, for once.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

This kid is now taller than his mom.

He wants to pass me. I'll have to stop feeding him.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The amount of food a teenage boy can eat is mind blowing. I don't know how my mother kept up with 4 of them.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that raising parents is almost as expensive as raising kids.  
The emotional toll?  Probably equal there.


While I don't have to feed mine, the travel and all that goes with that to help maintain their care is maybe sorta close.... IDK


Typing this from my dad's ICU room (L1 fracture and a few other things going on) and after postponing my flight home - but I smuggled a beer in with me so there that.   And I have to say... I seem to be in the right place at the right time for both he and my mom over the years.  [thumbsup]

Today marks the 23rd anniversary of my dad's passing ... Time freaking flyes and I was just starting to really enjoy being with him ... Like, being sorta at the same level, dunno how to explain it
