It's an understatement how much I appreciate my brother and SIL making the effort of getting to me to help and doing so many things for me while here.

But man, they can be the BICKERSONS!   [laugh]

I hope you hear from your sister and niece soon, Mary, that has to be a bit unnerving - and I'll look fwd to whatever intel you have on fracture recovery, thank you!

Carry on.

They're STILL The Bickersons?

Another rejection notice via email today.  From Subaru - a position I was well qualified for.  No interview again.  Talked to a former colleague who works there and they hired an internal candidate.  I did see another opening there, so I'll drop my name in on that one.  Also saw a couple openings at the Toyota office I used to work at here...may drop an app just to see if I get a response.  :-\

Thanks everyone.

I was totally stressed out. I got lucky with this dog. He's incredibly intelligent., but equally boneheaded..

Congrats on the third interview Dave.  Why would you want to work for a company that can't make a basic decision???????

Just a question.

I'm told it's about standard these days. First you talk to a recruiter to weed out the total crackpots. Then you talk to the hiring manager. If they like you, you talk to the whole team to make sure you'll be some semblance of a fit.

Later on, they can discover I'm a complete pain in the ass.  [laugh]

Good morning all. My sister and niece made it through the hurricane. Both have no power, but their houses are ok.

I met with a resume consultant.  I'm hoping a total rewrite will help with the job hunt.

Another aspect that is frustrating is when you've applied to a company (several brands under one corporate umbrella) a couple times and a new position is available, you have to go through the same process of application that you've already completed.  Takes a fair amount of time to copy/paste the information from your resume into their fields, even though step one is uploading your resume.  [bang] [bang] [bang]

Wow.  Denver's DA office is on the 53rd floor of an office downtown.  They finally apprehended the guy who stole my Snap-On tools and a few other items from the storage facility down the street.  Arraignment is next week.  I'll probably attend.

That's good news.  Should be interesting and dull to watch at the same time.  Flip him the bird.

They want me to give a 25 min presentation. On myself. Ugh.

For the third round interview?  All this shit is so weird.  Woke up to another rejection email this morning.
