Galgos are sight hounds like greyhound, italian greyhounds and whippets. They're a bit larger & slower but have stronger hips than greyhounds so they don't have those type of joint failures. (Whippets and italian greyhounds are less prone to hip issues as well.)

Generally need a couple walks a day & a good run every now and then. Beyond that, show them a couch & they're good.

Rowdy is happiest when he hunts, but then again he hunts everything...bugs songbirds cats...he doesn't discriminate.

That said, he knows when he's really hunting game birds...his point is markedly different...

oh...and he's a constant motion machine when he's outside. He never stops.

Officially new (to me) bike day.  Benno Boost class 3 "e-tiling"  Currently, I'm too chicken to ride it.

Actually too chicken to ride any of the bikes at the moment.  Will change that soon.


Hopefully we'll all get to see pics of a Galgo dog-o soon!  Good luck Stew!

Morning.

We had been in the high 90s. Have a system in the area now and will enjoy a few days in the low 80s.  Humidity hit a 17 year high here yesterday!!
