So...I called Zeke's provider to get a refill for his anti-seizure meds on Wednesday. I explained he only had one, possibly two doses left. I went through the whole thing with the representative on the phone, specifying the pharmacy...confirming the address...everything.

T went to pick up his meds this afternoon. The pharmacy hadn't received the script. Back on the phone. Turns out they sent the script to the pharmacy I specifically told the rep did not accept his insurance. I asked if they could get a new script to the correct pharmacy. Sure, but I don't know how long it will take.

T waited for 90 minutes with no result. She left, and went to the pharmacy that didn't accept his insurance willing to pay cash. They didn't fill the script...pending insurance [bang]  [bang]  [bang] , but didn't have the med in stock anyway.

Long story short...Zeke didn't get his meds tonight. I'm pissed...really...really pissed.

In other news, I have coffee, I'm home (several week-long work trips already behind me), and watching my new 5 y/o pup, Anni, half asleep in her bed on the sofa with one eye open looking out the window (there's been a herd of ancient bull elk hanging around and pooping all over the yard and neighborhood that we keep our eyes peeled for).

Urgh.... sorry about the clustermake the beast with two backs of incompetence Nate.  If these are all-the-time meds.... you'd think they'd be on auto-repeat..... By now you probably have it sorted, hope so mate.

Afternoon.

Love this new truck.

The thing we were making at work yesterday was a success if the thing we wanted to make was fire. I mean, it wasn't, but I feel like it was a nice parting gift with the old boss who is as useful as Anne Frank's drum kit. Place was running smooth as silk until he put his oar in the water and that's been the *only* change. He can't figure out the issue.  [roll]
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Your pharmacies suck big time!  Even though I hate CVS,if I have a problem their pharmacists always solve it.
