The pharmacy did nothing wrong. The med is a controlled substance. They can't just dole out a dose until the script becomes official. CVS doesn't accept Zeke's insurance, and even if they did, they don't keep his med in stock.

I didn't know it was controlled.  I'm on a medication that is covered by Medicare B, not D.  Medicare will not allow the prescription until almost too late.  My pulmonologist gave me a"sample" just in case.
