I have been working with a database file for a few years which has been getting less and less reliable.

I think I found out why today:
Column widths of the cells I work with.  There's a factory default width and any change to that renders that entire folder unreadable/unusable.  Wow.
F*ckin' column widths.
Who the f knew that?!?  (before today)
Bike-less Portuguese immigrant enjoying life.
