i could think of a few.... no way i'm sitting indian style in my desk chair now, thank you very much I'll bet they had pet snakes... and pet rats.... hmmmm... that might be conflicting.

<screams> tell me why you had pet rats again They were pretty cool, the only reason we won't get them again is because they have short lifespans and it's sad to bury a pet after only 2 years. i could think of a few.... no way i'm sitting indian style in my desk chair now, thank you very much I think even you would have like the one group of them when we first got them. My wife's daughter was up at a pet store and she saw these little baby rats that came in by mistake and were destined to become snake food. She bought them and gave them to us. They were so funny, it was always a little bundle of baby rats rolling around when they were playing. Once they got a little bigger we noticed that one was markedly different from the others in that she didn't have any nuts that dropped. We separated them right away. They're surprisingly smart and affectionate.

I've heard great things about rats as pets...supposed to be much better than hamsters, gerbils, and the like.
They wouldn't survive our whippets, though.

Ferrets are cool. I had a black-footed ferret when I was a kid. Wonder if they're still endangered.
