how was the crowes show the other night, BTW?
Stepped away to eat dinner: crab cakes! Black Crowes were great. I love a band that's better live than on albums. They've mellowed a lot. I love hob in Nola. Very intimate place for a show.

Crab Cakes sound yummy!

When I lived in Vegas, I used to go to shows at HOB or The Joint very often.  Great to see killer bands in small venues.

I think the Crowes are playing here at the Fillmore in Nov.  Will need to check into tix for that.

This one needs free after today's court costs for a few too many performance certificates in the last 18 months.  Total responsibility but it was still a painful check to write ($553.50).  Good thing I've got someone lined up to buy the snowboard and gear which will almost cover that!   waytogo

No, crepes are the guys who hit on your wife when you go to the bathroom.

Evening, I think I am done making sparks and dust for tonight.  Tomorrow I should have everything ready from the old Duc to go to be sand blasted.  I just hope it all goes back together.

those crepes were great - goat cheese and crawfish! When any of ya'll come down, we'll have to go to Muriel's.
The crab cakes were at home. Got 'em from Whole Foods.
