Ah dryer talk.  I'll try to keep this short.

So we finally broke down and purchased a new washer and dryer.  The units come in and get installed.  Man are they quiet.  A day or two of use and the dryer starts squeaking.  Call the seller.  They show up the next day.  Drum is scraping on a bearing housing.  We'll just give you a new one.

They replace the dryer.  The installer takes out the drain line for the washer and forgets to put it back into the waste pipe.

Not much fun the next morning doing laundry.

Send them a bill for clean up.

Fortunately the washer uses very little water and Donna happened to walk in just after it started to spew.  The water did reach the basement from the second floor.   Angry  It was an easy cleanup.

They've been very good to us.  But at this point we're done.  We just want to use the machines.

My interpretation:

"I'm going to a party where the foofoo drinks will be flowing, the girls will be wearing very little, the eye-stabbing music will consist of Jimmy Buffett, bob marley and Bobby mcfarrin but there's a chance I'll get laid while simultaneously typing indecipherable posts on the DMF and then will be too hung over on Monday to play nice at work."

 Evil

close. Not so many foofoo drinks, and the girls were wearing plenty of clothing as it was actually rainy  Sad
the eye stabbing music is dead on. the getting laid part...not so much. too incestuous if it happens within the group.
i didn't realize the post was that incoherent. i apologize.

in other news, the ceiling above my bed fell down this weekend. a 5.8lb chunk of plaster landed on my pillow. where my head normally is. that was fun to clean up. no there wasn't any water dripping through.

It's official.  Our new little orange kitty is a Garfield.  He went nuts begging lasagna tonight.  He ate every bite we'd give him too!
