nope, finally going to have someone pay attention to the tank issue, a different dealership. After you guys said to contact Ducati, I did. Found out they never heard anything from the dealership I was trying to have take care of it. Totally different type of response when I stopped by this other place last Saturday and spoke to the guy. He actually listened to me and didn't walk away mid-conversation.
That sucks that you have to travel so far to have it handled.

The soil is so bony it's tough to get an undisturbed bottom.

Welcome to my Saturday evening everybody  waytogo

Nice day today.

Pleasant warmish evening it is too.... my oldest boy been fishing, caught plenty Garfish and a few Whiting... cooked em on the BBQ for dinner  Smiley

And I'm nicely weary from kicking the footy around with my - too-much-footy-is-never-enough - youngest  Smiley

we'll prep the trench and build 'em.

The soil is so bony it's tough to get an undisturbed bottom.

The plan is to go a few inches deep and put something in without rocks and compact it so the bottom is flat, smooth, and at a good elevation.

Nothing 12" of crushed compacted stone can't fix.

I think you just become more selective and avoid dead ends.

Now to install frame sliders ... they came with no instructions ... any guidance?

A couple of inches of some of the cleaner stuff well compacted will fix it.

I don't think that's the case. I think you get meaner as you get older.
