yup. I am familiar with the ram mounts, for the most part they are quick and easy to disconnect .. I just didnt like how clunky it would have been where i needed to mount it, and i didnt want to mount it on the left mirror or clutch reservior.  If i had a direct way to go to the steering stem nut i would have opted for that. I know someone makes a really nice aluminum stem mount for that application. nice bike btw Cheesy

Sorry, this was meant for
nice! have any of you guys ever heard of the ram mount?

Shocked i love your bike! How did that yellow tinting work out for you? Where you the one who used the vinyl or the spray paint? I want to get a ram mount for a camera, but i wasnt so sure about how secure it was. but 160 should do!

At the risk of a threadjack... thanks man!  Grin I used a stained glass spray on product I got from a craft store. It came out awesome and even my straight laced wingman thinks it is hot. He says he can see me in an instant near or far. Everyone simply stops and stares.  waytogo I have passed several  Police so far without incident, we'll see... Definitely go with the ram mount, it is a stout product (I would stick with the lowest profile one for sure if you are mounting in a mirror hole). My radar is primarily held on with a big velcro pad but I added a zip tie for insurance.
