Okay first off before I get started I know the bike is dirty in the pictures and the quality is poor, but I had to get some out for my dad and I figured I might as well post here (I can always post better pictures later).

I have been bothering several people on this forum for quite sometime trying to figure out how I wanted to maky my Ducati unique.  I came to the conclusion in December that I was going with mostly Rizoma parts.

Hell, I should just cut to the chase and post the pictures since that is what you guys want!  Part list afterwards!

Part list:

Motocreations Boom Tubes
DP ECU
DP Open Airbox Cover with Filter
Rizoma LED lights
Rizoma Top Triple with Clipons
Rizoma Billet Lux Grips
Rizoma Brake and Clutch Levers
Rizoma Reservoirs (All 3)
Rizoma Front Sprocket Cover
Rizoma Clutch Cover and 5 Star Pressure Plate
Vizitec Integrated Supabrake Rear LED
TPO Crankcase Breather Vent Kit
14T Front Sprocket
Powdercoated Headlight Rim and Bracket
Cookie's Tail Chop
Various Black Billet extras

PROPS!!

Mark Savory at Motocreations for putting up with my countless emails and questions
Bernard at Vizitec for putting up with my countless emails and houndings!
PJ and Paige at pjsparts.com for all the sweet Rizoma Gear
Colorado Springs BMW/Ducati
Spectrum Powder Works in Colorado Springs, CO

THE RIDE:

When I first picked it up from the shop, I could tell it was a different kind of Monster, almost like a super Monster.  The power was more responsive, and I really enjoyed the new gear ratio.  The sound from the boom tubes is really one of a kind.  Someone referred it to sounding too much like a Harley, but my father quickly said, "That is like comparing a 67 Vette to a Ferrari".  The sound isnt quite Harley, it has that European gusto.  I swear to you all that a soccer mom in her Suburban had an orgasm at a traffic light while next to me.

Any questions or comments just post in here!

I bit down and bought the actual DP ECU (1200 bucks from Ducati Omaha><).  I wanted to keep my warranty as long as possible.  Hats off to the guys at the Ducati Service department, they did it all for me with some coercing and 2 cases of beer.  I just brought him my red key and he took care of everything.  The pictures are all supposed to be the bigger size, but for some reason photobucket is acting the fool.  I am going to try to resize them to be bigger so you can see.   I will youtube the pipes tomorrow when the weather is nicer.

Yeah I think my next mods are the Rizoma rearsets and a suspension mod.  Next winter I am going to get the swing arm and spring powdercoated black to match the bike.  Going to get the front Forks anodized black, too.

I like what you've been doing to your bike.  waytogo  Can't wait to see what you do next.

I just put those Rizoma reservoirs on my s2r1k.  I'm using the brackets that came with the reservoirs for now. (Painted them red) I see you got the fancy Rizoma brackets.  I'm looking for something in billet also, but not at the cost of those Rizomas.  I've seen Brembo billet reservoir mounts on eBay for $10, but they're oriented 90 degrees out from what I need.

I also got some clear Tygon tubing to replace the black stuff.  The side effect to the clear tubing is that I can see the fluid easier.  The windows on the Rizomas are not real easy to see thru. I made my own tubing clamps from stainless wire using a ClampTite.  Here's a shot of what mine look like.

That sounds nice. I've heard them before (on Nakid's bike) and they didn't sound like that.  Huh?

The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow.  I will try to get someone to video me on a drive by and get a good one of me at WOT.  I went out for a ride tonight, and it was pretty amazing the difference.

army_intel I got to say thanks for the video, and +1 on the ride by clip. There are a lot of us here that have been wanting to hear the Boomtubes and due to how different they are from the normal full systems we need as much info as possible  Wink

I like the boom tubes.  How do they work with your DP ECU?  Any issues?  I have the Termi DP ECU and have been interested in th eboom tubes.  Did you have to get the bike re-tuned after you installed them or was it plug and play?

I like the boom tubes too.  From the vid they are not as loud as I would have thought - the clutch sounds louder if that is any kind of a measure.
