/\ +1 The more aggressive the geometry the more you will have to use your core and legs to ride.  Relax, get your chest closer to the bars, and work on building your core fitness.  Once you get used to the position you will feel much more in tune with the bike, and you will never go back 8)
+1  [thumbsup] I have Cyclecats below the triple and as low as they can be, and the bike feels so much more stable, but you have to ride it with your whole body.  As an added benefit, no need for a steering damper.
Ride on  [thumbsup]
It's been real, it's been fun, it's been real fun!

I put Tomasselli clip-ons on my s2r 1K a couple of months ago, and I would never go back.  Took a little getting used to, but the handling was completely transformed once I got the hang of it.  Just keep riding, and let the bars help you get into a more effective riding position.  Take a look at Twist of the Wrist 2 and Lee Parks' TOTAL CONTROL, especially the photos on where your body should be - the clip ons make it much easier.

When you get it, the bike will feel like it's on rails...

Same mod on my M750 "Soon to be M900 :)" Anyway there is no way I'd ever go back. I never noticed the steering slower after the mod. Its ridiculous how much  confidence this mod gave me. Then I put the BT016's on and WOW!

Reading twist of the wrist now. So far very good read but I feel I understand most of the concepts its going over.

I've ridden bikes with everything from clipons, to flat BMW type bars, to the Off road bars that are on my S4 right now.  Personally, I like the leverage and control I get with the higher bars.   When I was younger, I liked the lower bars, but now that I'm getting older than dirt (47), I like the more relaxed position.   I took the California Drivers test on a Kawasaki S3 Triple with clipons when I was 16, and passed the riding test.  Not any more.
