How loud are pod filters?

They rattle your ear drums and you here a loud thumping sound I love it.

pod filters are the greatest.  and if youre worried about them being too loud, then its not for you.  i have no exhaust past the headers on my bike and i can hear the pod filters over the exhaust when im cruising at highway speeds, and at lower speeds... and basically anytime im on the bike.  BUT its not a bad sound and i wouldnt want to change it.
