but am still having a little difficulty deciding between the two options, so which would you choose?  Not that the daily rat would probably be a kawahonuki standardish style of some sort.  I plan to be back on two wheels at the end of this year or early 2010.

your riding style seems more suited to the multistroodle than a sbk

EXCITING TIMES!!

I have a different proposal for you Doc.

Purchase a used Multistroodle for everyday troodling(I've seen '05 and newer DS 1000's in the $7k range)
AND
A HonKawaZuki track bike (maybe a nicely dressed SV 650 --> I've seen these in the $3-4K range with all kinds of goodies)  Evil

I'm against NEW bike purchases. Can't stand to take a big depreciation hit once you put that kickstand up. If it were me I'd buy used.  Wink

I agree.

I was kinda keeping this to myself because I wanted see If I could raise the money soon. But I'm pretty sure he'll take 4k for it.

It's make the beast with two backsing amazing. That bike is worth a hell of a lot more than 4.5k

I don't see myself running enough track days a year to warrant having a dedicated track bike.
