I may be picking up a new (to me) bike and it comes with a spare Showa front end ( forks and triples only) from a 2002 998. Curious as to what these babies wouls/should sell for?. The internals have been redone and upgraded.

Thanks in advance... didnt exactly know where to post [beer]

200 dollars..... to me only.  ;D

Depends on the buyer,  I got my 999 forks for my old bike for $350  I've seen them go for more, and less.

I've seen them (actually) sell for anywhere between $300 - $750 but these days I'd be VERY surprised to see them fetch anything over $400.   They do have the TIN coating on the sliders which can be more desirable. The fact that they've been "redone & upgraded" only makes a difference if they're correct for the future owner. Otherwise it's gonna get done again anyway.

Other questions potential buyers will ask is when (miles/time) were they redone and for which bike/what weight rider?

best of luck with the sale

I just bought a set from someone on this board off a 2002 996.  Ti sliders, annodized black, complete stem and I paid $450 shipped.  Saw them cheaper and saw them more expensive.  These were already annodized, so I thought it was a good deal.
996 forks, BoomTubes, frame sliders, CRG bar-end mirrors, vizitech integrated tail light, rizoma front turn signals, rizoma grips, cycle cat multistrada clip ons, pantah belt covers - more to come

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken

$300-$350 without Nitrided sliders, $400-$450 with.

With the anodizing, you got a good deal
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...
