All Ducati aficionados are welcome to come to our first annual Ducati Austin Monster Mayhem event on March 14 from 3:00 until 6:00. Food, drinks, and giveaways! Help us celebrate the most influential Ducati ever made. We will have Monster parts and accessories on sale to customize your bike. Come show your bike off, talk with other Monster owners about customizing and accessorizing your bike. Bring your Ducati, Aprilia, or MotoGuzzi and get a free safety inspection from our certified techs.  Even if you do not own a Monster, come down and be a part of the festivities.  Fun for the whole family.

In addition, you'll be able to see the limited edition Troy Bayliss replica 1098R, and swing a leg over the new 1198S and 1198.

Sincerely,
The Ducati Austin Team

Turned out not to need surgery after some closer CT scans. I was wrapped up for a week, in a hard cast for another 4 and am 2 weeks into at least 4 weeks in a removable aircast. Still on crutches although I will be back on the bike just as soon as I can get around with just a cane. The gear is clean, the bike is ready to roll. Hell, I just checked the air pressure in the tires tonight and plan to have it off the stand this weekend.

Awesome of you to ask how it is going though. It has been a challenge to do most everything, but this is the best of all possible worlds so I don't complain.

good to hear!

I'm currently in physical therapy for some back issues as well and hopefully will not have to go the surgery route,  but my Dr is a Motorcycle guy as well and doesn't object too much to me riding (says it's no worse than being in a car)
He's a good doctor in my book (too bad he's a Harley guy)

you should hobble on down to mings this week......you and Fay can compare crutches!

Did Fay go down or is it a non-MC injury? I was able to walk around a little this weekend without the crutches and am now able to get around with just 1 crutch or a cane so I will be there on Saturday for at least a bit. The wife has been warned that Wednesday nights are back on so I will try and see you all this Wednesday. The weather is probably going to suck all the way into Saturday though...

nah, not MC related........I know he had surgery to fix something  (I can't seem to remember right now)

See you out there!

Does anyone know if there is a group ride from the shop that day? I heard someone mention it this weekend.

Does anyone from South Austin want to meet up and ride down together? I'm at 35 @ slaughter............I can meet anywhere along 35 for folks in other areas
