Where do I buy tickets, and how much are they, where is the best place to watch?  Gp virgin  Grin

Buy Tickets:
https://www.mazdaraceway.com/livesite/order_preview.php

Watch it from any number of places on the track. I bought Turn 11 grandstand seats for the race. But you might just sit up at the Corkscrew during the race. And make sure you hook up with us.

I usually trailer the bike down there, since we camp out of the truck. But if you do ride, be very wary of cops. There will be speed traps all over the county.

Speed traps guaranteed on the over passes as soon as you get into Monterey County.
There are usually cops posted doing radar on the over passes, with a line of moto, or squad cars waiting on the on ramps.

FYI - if you are on the Corkscrew Newsletter, there is a 48 hour special for www.montereyplazahotel.com - this place is PHat, right at end of Cannery Row, fancy!  $199/nite, 3 nite minimum - call 800-334-3999 mention "corkscrew special offer" or this URL may work

https://reservations.ihotelier.com/crs/p_prod.cfm?HotelID=6020&ProdID=216965&killcookie=1&LanguageID=1

My wife is definitely happy not to be - a. camping  b. not staying at some crappy Pacific Grove hotel (like normal!)

That sounds like an awesome deal because that's a swanky place. If wasn't so broke I'd cash in on that offer. I gonna stay at my usual junky motel, I figure I'll mostly be at the track anyway.

Will be riding up w/sloduc & BozcoRob.  Staying at a campground on the beach this time...  supposedly, it's nice.  Will be reachable by cell phone (it's on my website BTW) for those that want to hang out & grab a  drink.

Just got tix.  Is anyone riding down or driving?  Where is the DUC MOB squad going to be?

That is a good question. We haven't had much of a meet place per say because MOB-ers seem to find their resources all over the place.
It would be nice to have a beer shack to meet at after the race or something.
I'm riding down with one other.

We'll be staying at our usual RV campground in Carmel Valley, just 10 minutes from the track. All are welcome to stop by for food and espresso (yes, Miss Silvia is coming too).

So what time do I have to get there to park my bike on the island?
