Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

If I learned one thing about crashing it's this:  All drug advisories are written by people with poor understanding of English.  When the bottle says "Do not to mix with alcohol," they mean "Only effective when taken with alcohol."

I was on the 1098 which was outfitted like a giant Nerf toy.  It was wearing underbody frame sliders, rear axle sliders, fork sliders, bar end sliders, and SharkSkinz bodywork.  The only non Nerf item that got damaged were my Sato rear sets.  The gearbox was also giving problems that day and finally stopped shifting, otherwise I'd still be riding the thing.

My gear has already been crash tested a few times and aside from a few more tears and holes in my Vanson it is no worse for the wear.  My new Sidi Corse boots took a serious beating.  I didn't know my leg was ever in any danger until I went to take off my gear and found serious rash and missing pieces all over my boot from the toes to the top of the ankle.  For some reason I went off the track head first and my helmet acted as a brake so I will have to replace it because I don't know how much the foam inside has compressed.

I had a headache for the rest of the day and I wasn't able to lift my shoulder at all but I was able to drive the big blue truck back home.  I thank the Air Force for putting power steering in that beast.  Tuesday I had some emergency meetings at work so I couldn't go to the doctor.  I could tell something was wrong since my two shoulders did not line up and I couldn't lift my arm.  That night I took some pain killers and slept on top of the shoulder and when I woke up it was back in place.  Everything was lined up and aside from some soreness I could move it through its full range of motion.  I even went to the gym at work on Wednesday just to test it out.  My boss thinks I have Wolverine like healing powers.

Yeah you do, just tell me you didn't go off in turn 9....That place tears things up....I would still get the shoulder checked out though.
