What bike? All I see is an aerator weighted down with Pavestones. Do they make a tri colore aerator?? [laugh]

Ok... nice bike for sure! [thumbsup]

it sounds like someone didn't want you on that tri-color... hopefully, the 1098 will bring you blue skies!

I think I remember from last year, you rode over some train tracks and bent the front rim?

That would be correct. A nasty chuckhole on the far side of a rail. I know it wasn't really "The Bike's Fault".
I'm here to kick a*! and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of bubble gum.

did insurance cover it?  The railway who owns those tracks should be responsible for things like that.

Actually the railroad did come through with the full amount for the repairs. Collected that check about 2 weeks after I wrecked the bike.I was pretty depressed so the check actually helped out a little. The total for the repair was about 660 which was for straightening to race specs and repaint as the straightening destroyed the finish plus labor.

Honestly I am starting to feel the same way about my relationship with Ducati. I have been riding for 10 years and had about 7 bikes. The s2r I bought last year was crashed 22 days later in a completely stupid incident.  I just bought a 99 Monster last week and didn't even ride it before fixing the sticking throttle.  Rode it 6 miles home, tried to start it later, and the starter solenoid (probably) went belly up.  The bike is dead and there is a scratch in the left fork from a lung forward during starting.  Me and Ducati seems to be doomed like the Bachelor and the first chick he dug out.
