I'm looking at buying another Ducati and the previous owner says a guy named "Pasqual" has done the work on the bike.....

according to the p.o, this "Pasqual" is a former Ducati Factory Race mechanic and is top notch.

Has anyone heard of this guy??.... he's located in the SouthBay area. I 'm trying to find  as much info on the p.o and the bike as possible

BTW the bike is pretty sweet and only has 8500 miles on her ..

Thanks for your help!!

Is the information about him accurate- as far as a mechanic and so forth?

Thanks Derby waytogo

I use him as my mechanic. used him when I had the Duc and he did a fantastic job.
I dont think that he was a *factory* race tech but he said he worked on a Ducati race team in Brazil I think, he also worked at Del amo motorsports as a Duc tech if I remember correctly.

My bike ran fantastic after being over there, he cleaned it, and it was a pretty good price.
I like the guy, and i trust him. What more can you ask for in a mechanic?

He has a couple of my Aprilia scoots in his garage right now!

I would recommend him to anybody interested.
His number is 310 621 1048, he is located in Redondo Beach and does all the work out of his garage.

What kind of bike are you looking at?

I am looking for someone to do my 12K service on my S4R and saw this post.  I am also in Redondo so it would be quite convient if this guy is still around.  Does anyone know if he is still working on bikes?  Any recent reviews?  Thanks all.  Just looking for another option that is not Del Amo.

The OP of this thread now takes his bikes to Scott Waters.

Hello All! My name is Jeff, and I just bought a 2003 M800Sie.  I signed into DMF recently, and the kind folks at the Introductions forum directed me here  waytogo  I live in the Southbay, so I'm also looking for a local Southbay independent to do a 6K.  I've been searching the forums and Googling, and besides the highly recommended Nick (Valley) and Scott Waters, are there any other independents anyone might recommend?

In my search (trying to focus in on Southbay) I've come across GP Cycles, Belmont Cycles, "Pasqual" (mentioned above), any others?

For another data point, during my search for a Monster, late last year I met up with a guy to look at his bike while it was being serviced at his mechanic's shop.  The shop turned out to be in the guy's garage, roughly located at about Hawthorne Blvd and 405, just east of the freeway.  I talked to the mechanic about the bike, and to others who were there about the mechanic.  Unfortunately for me, I didnt buy the bike, nor did I get the mechanic's name.

Looking forward to everyones replies, much appreciated!  Jeff
