Trying to figure it out--I just assumed it was on a weekend, but it is a Friday.  I will try my best, might not know until a week or two out.

According to my laptimes from CSS, I was running ~2m on streets.  Fasttrack says l1 is 1:50+.  I'm sure that within a couple sessions I'll probably be under that and need to bump up, but I'd rather wait and see then get in over my head Wink

are we caravaning or otherwise coordinating, or just ad-hoc meeting at the track?

Not sure about the caravaning... if we are we must go get CBs. It's necessary.
Or, maybe not. I did pick up a pin for my front stand, and a pair of tire warmers today though... Woot!

Forcast is for 78 with a light breeze, 61 in the morning.

Garrett, sorry you can't go Sad

Hi Gang,

I am experiencing technical difficulties.  I can't get the bike to start.

I though the battery might be bad, so I hook it to the car and the bike started right up.  I ran out and bought a replacement battery.  Now, the bike won't start either on the new battery or the car battery...

Very frustrating.

eek, sorry to hear it Lester! Sad  I know _all_ about that from last week. Angry Are you still gonna come up and try and get her goin?

in other news, no gm2 means no ez-up.  If Lester is out too, that means we have no shade. Shocked

Yep, sorry Garrett and Lester, but I've got to say it was a pretty epic day. Love the format (groups go out once an hour; group a top of the hour, b 20 afer, and c 40 after). The riders meeting was amazingly civilized and quick (started at 8:30, first group was on track at 9)... sweet! The weather was great, company was great, the other riders were courteous, they were very efficient about clearing crashes, it's a fun track... yeah, great day.

Joe, really can't thank you enough for the ride and loading/unloading help... it's greatly appreciated! Derby, Sqweak, great to see you guys. Amazing how much everyone picked up the pace in the afternoon with a little track knowledge. Good stuff!

Oh shut up...   Wink

I brought the bike in.  Andy at West Coast GP Cycles believes it is the starter pickup.  The starter turns, I have spark, and fuel is flowing.  Hope to have it together asap, but I don't need it urgently.  Since I'm out on business next weekend, I'll be missing this round of WSMC racing anyway.

See you at the next one!!!
