Yep, we've been emailing, he suggested I put it up just in case it's not ready. Sounds like it's looking better than it was earlier though.

Coolio, I got a message from Fastrack today and they are combining a L3 and some L2.5's together...guess they have a hard time selling the L3.  I'm relieved, #1, I'll be on new tires, new profile, and #2, I may actually get a chance to pass someone... laughingdp

Well... I'm officially out. Fincher was going to be here on saturday, but he moved the visit up to friday. If you or anyone you know wants a spot let me know; it's sold out otherwise.

poop!

The trailer for CCBB came out, if you want to check out the reason I can't be around...

It's amazing how easy you can get very dehydrated out there.

For those of you who don't already, you should take off your leathers between every session.  This seriously combats dehydration and heat stroke...

Also, I've been using Gookinaid for years to combat dehydration.  It's the real deal.  If you get the shakes to, this ain't bad either http://www.rei.com/product/520007 as it's made by the same guy.  This is what Gatoraid was supposed to be.  It's not near as sweet, but then, it's not pasked with calories either (Gookinaid or Hydralyte) and you can find it at most good outdoors shops.  If you haven't, try it out.  Prepare it in Nalgene bottles the night before, and keep it cool, but don't freeze it.  If you work through two liters of it over a track day, you'll be spot on.  Also, as it combats dehydration through limiting water excretion though your distal convoluted tubules, you'll pee less often than if you were just drinking water.

As a bit of humor, I actually learned about this stuff as a way of combating hangovers.  If you drink half a liter before a night of stupidity, you'd be amazed how much better you feel during your walk of shame the next day!!  But take note, it won't prevent pregnancies or STDs...

Not that I'm doubting you, but I find this surprising given the amount of effort and exertion needed to squeeze my fat-ass in or out of leathers. laughingdp

Good to know.  My last track day in May it was 107 at Willow Springs.  I drank a half gallon of Gatorade an hour, sat under the EZ-UP when I wasn't on the track, and I didn't pee once the entire day.  I knew when my body ran out of moisture because my mouth would instantly go dry and then I would get dizzy.  Then I would pull into the pits.
