You should have made it down to the dyno shootout. There were no 4V Monsters (WTF?) so you would have taken it, plus judging based on reving while in neutral is lame compared to the sound under load.

+1,

Nice pics.  You got 2 great shots of my S4R in the sound off.  Being the only monster in the final, I think I got railroaded since the guy from Italy was in love with the 1098s.   Oh well it was a lot of fun!!

at LDD a few years ago, i was the loan monster (s4r w/ arrows) in the finals against two superbikes. i came in 3rd, but i know i sounded better than at least one of 'em.

QuoteDoes your gear match? If so, how dare you.

Hmph, my gear doesn't match so I dare - and I buy a bike for the fun and thrill it is capable of delivering me, never as a fashion statement.
OK I have a few bikes that I lusted after as a kid and no longer perform up to today's bikes...

But none of this will convince me that all motorcycling has whittled down to merely a projection of taste.
Obviously the cruiser/HD segment has and I want no part of that crap either.
You can keep the gay-ass fashion shows, if I want to see strange titties I'll go the strip club.
If Ducati wants to be the Calvin Klein of motorcycles I want no part of it.

So eat  [bacon]

I never got the fashion show thing either. next year we're gonna step up the CDC Dyno Shootout and have a portable stripper stage for entertainment purposes while people are waiting to get on the dyno.

Next year will be sick. This was the first year and we had a great turn out. If we can get a larger area and some more stuff to keep people entertained while they wait, we should be able to get around 50 bikes.

That's the second person that gets that warning. Ducati.net is Vicki Smith's website. Vicki coordinates all DOC events. I'll let her know that some people are getting this error.

Most likely they are displaying ads that inject malicious software... unless the server itself has been compromised by hackers...  :o
