13,500 miles
Great bike, fantastic sound
Scratches on both sides
Tires have 1,000 miles or so of useful life remaining

Is it just me, or do those "scratches" in the low-resolution pics look more like gouges?

We may just have a "carbon connection" for panels here pretty soon.....One of our Ming-ers is gauging interest....

Oh yeah, he builds carbon bicycle frames........like, for a living....

lol! I was thinking yesterday that I would do the same thing for my bike, I'm at 7k right now............unless I acquire some wrenching skillz real soon, I'm going to put that thing up for sale around 11k and pick up a Japanese bike!

Wonder if I'll still be allowed in at Mings if I show up on an R6

Hiero, did you by chance put your 748 for sale?

saw a yellow 99 on CL a few days ago

You will always be welcome, but you should be prepared for some long term ribbing at your choice to go with a souless bike.

Yo Paulie,
Keep us posted on that carbon connection. I have a few CF goodies that either need repair or replacing.  Grin

That's interesting............wonder what's wrong with it.  Tongue

well it says salvage title, so I'm thinking that might be the reason it is priced so low, you think there might be something else wrong with it in addition to that?
