Do any of you have experience w/ the subject tank bag? I saw a photo of one attached to a Monster on another site and it looked like it was made for it. The bottom curves towards the back and seems to fit well. Just curious if any of you have one and, if so, your impression.

No experience with the Teknic, but I have the Givi monster specific tank bag which I like. It uses a separate tank bra thing that goes around the headstock and on to the frame at the rear, and the bag clips on at the back and straps on at the front (this means you can pop the clips and get to the fuel filler.

It fits the tank nicely and is a couple of inches from your chest. The map pocket is a bit tight for a standard map. You can see the clocks no problem too.

Cheers

bluesman77,
What model Monster do you have?  If it has a plastic tank, the Teknic bag will not work as it uses magnets to attach to metal tanks.

Mine's a '97 - all steel, so the magnets would work fine. I have a Nelson-Rigg teardrop bags for one of my other bikes that fits surprisingly well. But the Teknic looks like it would fit even better.
