That is a hot bike!

I will be anxiously waiting to see what you do with it.

For me, that headlight needs to be lower. Wink

Wow! Cool bike. I love it!
Perhaps redesign the tail a bit (sharp edges more smooth), lower the gauges and headlight and maybe get rid of the frontfender. Ready!

Here's my wife's 2001 M900ie "Metallic". We call it the "Disco Duck"...

Here's her '98 ST2 that we recently purchased. We've removed the trunk, bar risers, and taller windshield, already. Because of the accessories it had when we bought it, we call this the "Geezer Glide"..

Here's my 2002 748...

My '98 ST2...

My '87 Paso 750...

And for non-Ducatis.......my '85 Harley...

My wife's 2000 R1...

and her '94 GSX-R750...

You'll have to tip-toe past the German Shepherd and hope neither of us is home or comes home before you're gone, because we are usually packing.   Wink

Talking about walking and missing......when I picked up the Monster I rode the Harley over to the dealer, grabbed the Monster while leaving the HD, and parked the Monster where I always park the bikes when I get home from work. I told my wife that we had to run into town to pick up my bike, and she thought I was talking about the Paso from my buddy's shop for a carb synch. When we went to leave, she walked right past the Monster! She didn't even bat an eye. When I told her to look at the bike, she freaked out because she never realized it wasn't a bike we already owned......Is this a sign that we have too many bikes?......I still want to find a good deal on a decent 851.

hey folks,

so i haven't posted my monster on this thread but it's on other threads around the board. i guess with this being my 200th post i should post up now. what an amazing collection of bikes on this thread. unbelievable variety of monsters and other ducati's and other makes.

i really dig this board and i'm happy i joined right at the very start. i joined TOB the day the sh*t was hitting the fan. i couldn't believe no one was welcoming me. little did i know what drama was happenning. well someone PM'd me 2 days later and directed me to here  Grin

my '73 harley- 1200cc stroker kit, port/polished, barnett clutch components and transmission, 12:1 pistons, etc, etc....still not finished. she's a beast! this is an older pic with the original tank as the bobber tank i had on developed a leak from all the vibes...i have 2 into 1 thunderheader pipes on there but those are the straight pipes i had on at the time...WIP

Sweet Foggy, and glad you made it. If you had found the old board ealier, it would have felt very much like this. I only feel sorry for the new people who are finding TOB now and don't know the way it was. I hope as we mature here, and gain more google hits the newbs find us. I feel we have a great community here and a awesome resource for Duc related info.

Here are the first pics I've ever seen of me actually on my bike.  They happen to show the mods pretty well too, including the bagster tank bag/cover.
