The Bike is the DMF (and a lil tob laughingdp)

The bikes frame, and most of the parts are from a 900, the engine is a carbed 750.

Steve Baron aka Trouble painted the bike. John Ryti aka ducman851 assembled the bike, using parts donated by DMF/DML family members.
Some parts were donated, and some parts were paid for using monetary donations, sent in from all over the world. I think, if I remember correctly, the chain was off one of the Bostrom boys bikes.
Not that I want to send people back to TOB, but there is an entire section explaining the whole story. Someday, I'll write down a lil history of the bike, and submit it as a bike of the moment.
The exhaust is a polished set of Ducati Performance megaphones (they be loud  Evil )

Long story short.... the kind and generous people here, gave her to me as a wedding gift (along with a veeeeeery nice honeymoon)

If I live a thousand lifetimes, I'll never be able to repay the kindness you all have give me and Michelle (das wifey)

This coming weekend, she travels north to be at La Ducati Days Kiss

ha haaaaa, .... I'm glad I asked!  that's a great story; I had no idea .... and that's why I had trouble identifying the bike its no one bike its many!  Cheers to U and yours, shes a keeper and the bike too.

[Reprinted from the DFW forum]

Okay, so I've been doing some minor tinkering and modification to my two girls.

One day I was almost run over while riding the Monster.  Hit the horn button but nothing.  That is, nothing reaching even MY ears.  The horn was operational, just anemic in a sonic sense of the word.

So I picked up some Fiamm knock-offs at the Auto Zone.  They were glossy black on one side and glossy red on the other.  So I hit 'em with a few coats of VHT flat black.  Much better.

Not much real estate left on a S4RS for mounting, but I did the best I could.  Put the relay and fuse under the left side panel.

Also popped some coin for a Zero Gravity Dark Smoke windscreen.

Consuelo didn't escape attention either.

The H-D folks in Texas really screwed up my front brakes and handling.  So I rebuilt the calipers and threw on some new rotors and pads.  While I was at it I finally installed some rubber fork seal gators for the old school look and the real world bene of protecting the fork seals from dust, rocks, etc.

Also, finally mocked up the drag bars for the H-D: K&N bars, Rizoma Reverse Retro Bar End Mirrors, and some vintage BMW bar end signals with red lenses in the rear.  I've got the Badlands Illuminator Pro module, so I can remove the front signal wiring altogether, and run the rear signal wires to the bar ends.  The Badlands module turns the signals into run, brake, and turn signals.

The garage here at the apartments is coming along nicely.  Picked up a peg board for 5 bucks and hung up some of my hand tools.  The tool box was getting over loaded.  You can see Francesca, Consuelo, and that's Pricilla, the heavily endowed (top case) Aprilia RSV Mille belonging to my roommate.

Kopfjager - what did you use to mount the headlight so low?  And what do you have for gauges?   tnx

The bracket mounts to the forks. Since this photo the guage was lowered, and the headlight bracket was shortened.
