Blackboar

This is my 2005 620 Dark.  I chopped the tail and used some light from SDC and insterted them into the frame for turn signals, relocated the license plate light to the underside of the bike, chopped & cored stock cans (sound great!), LED tail light, bar end mirrors, carbon fiber windshield.  I still have some more mods to make but I'm pretty happy with what I've done so far.....

Even though my 2006 S4R red/black has been packed up for quite a few months now, I wanted to post up a few pics before she was put up for 2 years.  I am deployed in Japan and unfortunately could not bring it here.  I put the exhaust on a few days before I left.

When you get back, here's a tip. Take your heel guards and spray them with some oven cleaner (not the "Self cleaning oven" type, you need the good stuff with lye). Let them sit for about 30 mins, then wipe them off. The anodizing will come off with it leaving the bare metal. Polish them up and they'll match quite nicely with those pipes....

Thanks for the tip on the heel guards.  Unfortunately the stock heelguards won't fit on the "s" pipes.  The quality on the Fresco slip ons is very poor.  On the other hand, the QD mid pipes are excellent quality.  I will most likely ditch the entire exhaust on it now and switch to the QD EXBox when i return and have it ceramic coated black.  I think it will flow better with the bike and give me the "open wheel" look I really want.

If you told me about that paint scheme I wouldn't be very positive, but Devil, you really hit it big time.
Really very agressive and hooliganistic - vroom vroom

Thanks for the complement.  Sometimes they do look better than they sound.
