I'd argue that the Monster would be a rail-thin, heroin-chic model in this analogy.
You know, what with the trellis ribs and all.
yeah.... I'm ride'n Kate Moss

Ever since I got to Okinawa, Japan, I have been itching to get back on two wheels and beat the cagers...especially in traffic. I would have loved to get another Ducati, but on the island you can only go so fast and with the abundance of terrain, I started looking at dual purpose bikes. This popped up last week and though it sat for several months and had 15,000 km, it was in good shape and priced right. I already have took the snorkel off, changed the fluids, and done some surface corrosion removal. My 2006 S4R Monster is still back in the states in storage waiting for my return, but for now this fits the bill.
2005 Honda XR250 Motard
Plans include:
-320mm brake upgrade, plus master cyl ect
-280 big bore kit with cam
-core the stock pipe
rejet the carb...125 main jet
-powdercoat alot of small parts black
Anyway enjoy

That bike looks like a load of fun. Should help the time pass faster till you get back to that S4.
