Did you lose some teeth on your sprocket too?  Was it aluminum?  I had about 3-5 missing one day, did a wheelie and completely broke the rest off  Tongue  Less than 3,000 miles on it.

Here's some pics.  Both sprokets are the same brand/size.  One is new, the other has 3,000 miles on it.   Roll Eyes

The beauty I was refering to is the motorcycle. Evil
The other beauty is soooooo high maintenance...but she is worth it too.
