I agree! Very nice touch.
Probably good for at least 10+mph on the top end.
Surprised more folks don't do that on the red S2R/S4R bikes. Me likey.

Gorgeous bike!
I think Kingbaby may have posted some pics of my bike in the past, but here are a couple of my favorite shots. [moto]
And here is one of some of us on the Crest in Albuquerque: DucDucGooseMe, Kingbaby, DucMouse, me and Bonfy. I know, I know who's the dork with the helmet?

Cool pipes, Dusty! Definitely the appeal of the Monsters...so many different things can be done with them. Red pipes = drool

Are those round magents stuck on the tank? I have magnets that same size holding up stuff on my metal storage cabinet in my garage. Just curious... if so why are they there?

They are rubber furniture foot pads from Lowes. They give some nice grip & protect the tank from my leathers. Kingbaby & Ducducgooseme have them on their 1098's where their knees hit the side fairings. They work great & are cheap...BONUS!

Do they gum up the tank?
Also, why are Keith and DDGM's knees hitting the fairings?
(And what am I doing wrong?)
