Sorry for the poor quality, I don't have a digital camera at this time. These are from the day I bought my non-Cali '97 M750 Silver w/ various mods which I'm still discovering the nature of on a daily basis
Since that time I have "removed" the seat cowl (came off while I was lane splitting -illegally, since I am no longer in CA, haha- at 140 MPH).

Ugghhh... That thing looks like it screams just standing still....
-IMHO, I would rather snatch up one of these "almost WSBK" bikes than an "almost MotoGP" D16RR....
-The similarities between the 1098R and the WSBK bike are much closer than that of the 'Sedici + the real GP bike, if my research proves to be accurate...

I rode the R , 96 miles today through the hills of South Eastern Ohio and after I was moving in 1st gear I bet I never twisted the throttle more than 1/2 inch. The reponse is explosive. I've never ridden a bike where you got so much w/ so little effort.

I've owned 22 motorcycles. Here are pics of the four Ducatis I owned. I don't currently have a Ducati, but I'm going to look at the 696 next weekend.
'99 ST2
. Probably the best all-around bike I ever owned.
'99 750 Supersport.
Some wacky ass riding shoes.
'99 750 Monster.
I eventually mounted clip-ons on it (which was a bad idea). Great bike.
'03 999 Monoposto.
I still don't understand why people think it's ugly. Painful yes, ugly... no way.

Nice bike, Mac! Now you'll just have to ride it over the mountains with the other NW crew and visit us in Bend...
