Ok I'm sure I'm cutting it a bit late, but how long is this cougar run?  I'd like to join in I just don't really have the right gear for rain if it hits.

Edit-Ok just as I send that it starts raining..........Don't think I'm gonna make it.

Faaahhhhdge.  I'm gonna be camping outside of Estacada that Saturday.  I'd use the banghead emoticon... except camping is great, and I don't regret it in the least.  Grin  I may even find time to go visit a ladyfriend in Sandy.  Wink

It's killin' me that I ride past the Wind River Hwy at least once a week, and I haven't managed to go on a Cougar Run this year.  C'est la Vie.

Oh yeah... and I'll be renting a view house in Stevenson for the next year.  Can't settle on buying right now, with work trying to decide where to put the engineers.  Too much uncertainty.  Soooo.... I'm gonna wait.  I'll use the time to get my financial situation even better, and in the meantime enjoy a killer view from a deck looking over Stevenson, the river, and Bridge of the Gods.  Wink  That, and with my primo location, I will HAVE to go on a Cougar Run next season.

Still didn't do the Cougar run.  Cry

But I did go along on a ride out Pittsburg-Vernonia Rd to Hwy 47 to Clatskinie and back the same way. waytogo

It was a group I met at MotoCorsa; a Tricolore S4Rs, 2 Hypermotards, a guy and his wife two-up on a 998.

The best part is that the really crappy section of Pittsburg-Vernonia Rd has been repaved. applause Now its the best part of that route. Evil

I took my lady friend from Sandy for her first streetbike ride on Saturday.  She loved it, wants to go faster next time.  Evil  Now she's wanting to go for a ride on her b-day this weekend.

Life is good.  waytogo

We'll see where this goes... but I may need a 2-up bike sooner rather than later.
