Spiffy idea. See you there.
Here's a suggestion: how about we turn eastward for this ride? I was thinking Crown Point, Bull Run, Sandy, Estercada, etc.
Just thrownin' out some ideas.

I wanna go... but looks like I will be in the air... somewhere over the midwest at this point.
At least I will be headed back West.

I'd love to ride this weekend, but my parents and I will be moving our stuff out of my storage unit (yes, "our" stuff... they've been using the extra space to store acquisitions from my dad's parents' estate).
So for riding, I'll have to be content with my commute to work... which is now SR14 between Stevenson and Bingen, WA. [moto] It was a bit brisk, but otherwise, a gorgeous sunny morning. Can't wait for the ride home. Think I'll take the scenic route up Cook-Underwood Rd on the way home... stop at the viewpoint on Underwood Mtn and enjoy the sunset-lit view of Hood River, Bingen, and the Gorge.

Hey Dan... you know Maryhill is just 40 miles from Bingen... that is where the Stonehenge is at... you been there yet? I can't recall. It is a pretty cool thing too.

Oh, you Sally's, you shoulda been there!
Victor and I had a fun ride today (thanks, Vic). It was nice and cool, leaves changing colors, light traffic.
The wilds of Estacada and Moolala were scenic.
Hope we can squeeze in another ride or two before the weather turns . . .

Yeah... there's a ton of wineries around here. One of my fellow Systems Engineers here at Insitu also runs a vineyard with her hubby, up on Underwood Mtn. Anywayz, no, haven't been to Maryhill or the Stonehenge replica... actually didn't realise they were there (or that Maryhill hosts summer concerts at their amphitheatre). Now that I know... I think I have a ride destination. Maybe I'll take my lovely ladyfriend out that way next year. That'd be a beautiful ride out SR14.

Chuck Lives!
Chuck and I went for a ride yesterday (Sunday). [moto]
What a great day. Thanks for the invite, Chuck. A little chilly, but a great day to ride.
We did the Bull Run Run. Saw a fair number of bikes out including a spiffy '95 SS and S2R1K in Sandy.
Dare I say, the svelte, manly Chuck astride his trusty Lily was a vision to behold, reminiscent of Rossi at Laguna.
Chuck, you rock.
(I'm hoping he's lurking and will be lured back to the board!)
