well, it's  been a while, but I am back on the HyperMotard and the S4R, The limited amount of 09 Stock is causing some minor headaches (as in we can't enough to fill customer orders let alone demo stock) and just as I was getting ready to start taking the 848, they bloody well sold it on me (No consideration!)  Grin

Having now run around on the S4R for a couple of weeks now, I have to say, as much as they are a truly awesome bike (power wheelies anyone?) I still prefer my S2R, The S4R does not seem happy doing the commuting thing, It'll do it well enough, but you can tell it's not truly happy doing it (Plus the Clutch pull is not good in traffic), where for me the S2R is a little bit better as the all rounder, I can commute all week, cruise the highways and have an absolute hoot scraping the pegs on the Gillies range.
But I still wouldn't say no, if someone gave me one  waytogo

Rode a customers new M1100 this week, now that's an impressive animal, never did like the 696, but the 1100 is most impressive, not much of a run. only a couple of K's, and the customer was following me at the time (When we ride a customers bike for the first time, we get the customer to follow on a store demo bike while we check there bike and bed the brakes in, then they can see we are not thrashing there new toy) and considering the bike was stock, it even had a nice exhaust note from factory, I will be interested to see what the bike is like when it's run in.

The only 2nd handy we have at the moment is a Kawasaki KLR650 in rather poor shape, it leaves little pools of assorted colours of liquid all over the place, and the guy that owns it thinks it's worth a shit load, so it will never sell.

The S4R is an 07 model (I think) I will have a look when I'm back in on Tuesday, I have the HyperMotard this weekend.

It's a struggle to ride all these bikes, but someone has to do it!  Grin
