Hey Folks,

Sorry for taking so long-I found these pics on my camera

Here are some close ups of my tail chop

Some details:
I used 14 ga. (2 mm) polished aluminum plate

I used the existing mounting holes to mount the plate holder (M6 bolt and 102mm pitch centre to centre between the holes)

I made up two temporary spacers 1/2" diam. by 1.3" long (cold rolled steel-later I'll make them from aluminum when I get access to a lathe) to bring the plate holder to the right level

I left an inch space to mount the indicators - the indicator mounts were copied from the stock tail
I made the "teardrop" holes for the indicators with a drill and filed to size with a rat's tail file     

Overall, this project was achieved through trial and error-I made it to suit the stock fender and the size of the licence plate

I will use led licence plate bolts to illuminate/secure the plate
