I suspect after the fight that I'm anticipating in fitting my speedymoto bars... that these clubman type bars will look like a pretty good compromise.....

Let me know how it fits. I checked the clearance around the fork leg and there seems to be a wire bracket/hanger behind the headlight that looks like it might get in the way of the clamp for the clip-on.

Edit: sent the Tommaselli Condors back. Real crappy quality, and knurling not narrow enough for the dogbone. Still looking!

Yup that wire bracket thing will likely need to be dumped coz I'm fitting a new top triple at the same time as the new bars. I'm expecting that re-fitting the headlight and instrument binnacle is going to be...um.... an interesting experience.... but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Just heard from the guys at SpeedyMoto that...... drum roll.... my Tallboys bars have shipped today

Your bike looks bad-ass! I have had that Ohlins shock installed on my 696 for 2 months now and I have noticed that it really makes the forks feel inferior, at least at my weight. I demoed an 1100S a couple weeks ago and the Ohlins forks felt beautiful, they where actually smoothly soaking up the bumps in the road, when my 696 just sharply bounces over bumps in the road. I should not have demoed that 1100S because now I want one.

We have to wait until Ohlins show some options to M696 front (Fork or coils) but, it seems the stock fork is not as good inside as it looks outside

Just came back from shop I feel the rear is not so "rude" anymore after the bumps and I´ve got the feeling that the rear stay glued to the ground. Also, in acceleration I don´t feel the rear compressing, seems now it´s more direct forward. I hope you can understand me This analisys was made after 6kms ride More pics @ http://desmodromicamente.blogspot.com/2009/11/ohlins-du-738-type-s46dr1-my-2009-part.html
