I have a pair of white/black Alpinestars SP2 gloves that are just too big for me.  Size medium(9) and look brand new.  I have just 2 short rides on them - $40 finds them a new home  waytogo

I ride the SP1's.. really like em.

Astars seemed to really improve their leather quality this last year from my experience with the SP1's of 07 to the SP1's of 08.  It was softer and much more comfortable.

Love their equipment.

I'll bring them with me Wed. night to dinner so you can try.  Like Jester said, quality seems to be good, maybe not quite as armored as the GP gloves, but great for street use.

I had a pair of SP-1s a while back.  They got wet in a rain storm and were never quite the same after that.  Go figure  laughingdp

Can't remember the exact size but I think they were a small.  'Course I've never two glove manufacturer's whose sizing was the same  bang head
