resurrecting an old thread!

so I was finally able to get a hold of this guy in Germany and worked on a custom design with him based off a high-res scan (thanks He-Man for the gauge scan)

pardon the crappy camera phone pic (I can take better pics later)

as you can see, the gauge faces worked out nice but it took me quite a long time to get all this done because I did a bunch of other mods that were related to this (might as well do them all at once!) like clip-ons and replacing the cracked front plastic gauge covers, dual disc brakes, HID headlight, grind down stock upper triple.... long story short it was a lot of work, but I'm very happy with the gauge faces.

I have to show you how it looks backlit.

I had the guy run off a couple of extra gauge cover sets if any one has the guts and patience to do this mod (PM me if interested).

It's a 2 piece, but the faces are exactly the same dimensions as the scan you gave me. the only thing redial will have to be careful about is to mark on the cluster the position of the "0"s of the old faces so the new ones match up (actually matching the cutouts to the digital windows should be good enough, but I like to be precise).

oh. no it's a brand new piece, but they don't have the alignment tabs on the outside like the factory 2 piece gauge covers do.

How much does it cost to print these? i have them in a illustrator file.
